Head out onto Nihiwatu Beach towards the Edge of Wildness on horseback and experience the quiet magic of the shoreline at first light or catch as the sun dips beyond the horizon.

In the early morning, the light is slipping above the hill crescent and penetrating through the palm trees to cast beautiful shadows along the 2.5km stretch of white sand. A sunrise beach ride is a peaceful, almost meditative way to begin the day.

Sunset rides carry a different energy. The sky ignites in hues of amber and rose, casting a warm glow across the ocean as you move through the fading light watching as the descending sun meets the horizon.

Whether you choose dawn or dusk, each ride at NIHI Sumba is serene, stirring, and unforgettable.
