Enjoy the serenity of one of Rote’s most striking natural landscapes and its calm turquoise waters. Use SUP equipment or kayaks to leisurely explore the lagoon and enjoy the serenity of the environment with a relaxing picnic lunch by the water’s edge.

Overview

Start to explore the lagoon by kayak, paddleboard, or a little of both. The calm, sheltered water makes it easy to take your time; whether you’re trying it for the first time or you’re already confident on the board, there’s plenty of space to find your rhythm. Surrounded by rugged limestone cliffs and ancient mangroves, it’s a fun way to experience Telaga Nirwana from a different angle.

After time on the water, settle in for a relaxed picnic beside the lagoon. Our team prepares fresh light bites for you to enjoy, surrounded by rugged cliffs, mangroves, and turquoise-clear water. It’s the kind of snack that somehow tastes even better outdoors.

Continue to discover the underwater world as you snorkel through clear, calm water, keeping an eye out for colourful coral and marine life. Afterwards, watch our local guide demonstrate the traditional art of spearfishing, sharing techniques and local knowledge passed down through generations. It is the perfect, peaceful conclusion to your exceptional experience on Telaga Nirwana Lagoon.
