Located in front of the iconic wave dubbed Bo’a Barrel, the resort provides direct access to a fast right-hand barrel known for its perfect conditions.

Around the island of Rote, there are a variety of waves ranging from world-class reef breaks to smaller, beginner-friendly waves. Rote is best known for Nembrella, which holds the most consistent surf conditions year-round with the best swells during the dry season (May–October). The island offers a wide range of breaks catering to all levels and its untouched natural beauty provides a relaxed, unspoiled atmosphere compared to more commercialized surf destinations.

Let our skilled watermen teach you how to surf the world-class waves of Rote. Calmer waters can be found at the nearby Nembrella Beach including: Squealer and 81 Palms. Here, newbie surfers may spend half a day experimenting with some light surfing.

Please Note: The location for surf lessons is seasonal and weather dependent and based on availability of surf slots.
