From first-time surfers finding their feet to experienced riders looking for their next great break, Tropicsurf offers sessions designed for every level. Learn in calm water, build confidence in the ocean or head further along the coast in search of the day’s best waves.

Overview

A gentle introduction to surfing in the calm lagoon or pool. Learn safety, technique and the fundamentals of surfing with an expert coach. Ideal for first-time surfers and younger guests. Minimum age 4 years.

Take your surfing into the open ocean with an expert coach by your side. Designed for surfers who have the basics down but still benefit from hands-on guidance and assistance catching waves.

For confident surfers ready to explore Rote’s waves independently. Tropicsurf guides you to the best available break, with expert advice on positioning, wave selection and techniqu.
