villa so spacious and beach front direct access from your villa!. all of nihi staffs who best each field. warm and fun welcome since arrival to bye session for departure. pak Kenny GM welcomes and explain about rote and nihi. met Lia as guest captain (she is capable to meets my needs), bu victoria from resto also try her best to arrange my meals since i had a lots of food allergy, bu Yuli experience manager is super fun and vitamin virus lady. chef william and niko thanks so much for troubled you in the kitchen. staff from resto, thanks for always serving our bf lunch dinner time. our fav boat’s captain also made our day with rote music. we also need to highlight that we love liwetan academy night sooo much, super fun! “

“I spent 3 nights at Nihi Rote and left with nothing but amazing things to say about the experience. Yes, the resort itself is beautiful, the rooms are incredible, and the gym was one of the best hotel gyms I’ve seen (they even had a skierg!!) — but what made the trip unforgettable were the people and everything I learned while I was there.”

“Brand new resort. Just opened in April 2026. Nice beach with relatively calm waters. Room was perfectly clean as well as bathroom. Spacious room. We had a beach villa with direct access to the beach. Gym is equipped well. Resort offers yoga, pilates etc.. diving can be booked via Nihi (done by external dive instructor Mike). He knows many dive spots and has his own divers boat to being you there. Very nice and well experienced dive instructor. If you in to diving, take a trip with him. It is worth the money.

“Spent a week at NIHI Rote and it was unlike anything I’ve experienced. Sunrise treks to Loedi Beach, snorkeling pristine reefs, a boathouse excursion to Telaga Nirwana, wellness sessions with Paula, a traditional Rote massage at the villa, and cultural evenings with Rotenese dancers and a communal Liwetan dinner, every day felt intentional yet never rushed. “I had the most amazing time at Nihi Rote in April 2026. I don’t know what people are saying about the wave being privatized, as that couldn’t be further from the truth. I surfed with many people from other areas of the island and they couldn’t have been nicer. They were not unhappy about the resort being there. The rooms are very romantic, the service was amazing, and the beach is out of a movie. Nihi Rote supports the local community by training them so that they can go on to work at other resorts/hotels in Indonesia or abroad. It is great for the local economy. Some of the communists posting reviews on here believe everything should be free from the government, but reality and fantasy land of communism are much different. It is great to have investment in the local community, especially when it is responsible. Nihi Rote will help preserve the environment and protect this special area of the world… as they have an interest to keep it protected. I have surfed in other areas of Indonesia and the trash on the beaches is the worst I have seen — I did not see one bottle or piece of trash in my whole week out there… it is pristine. The island of Ndana across the way is the closest point to Australia… so you are literally on the tip of Indonesia!”

“Heaven on earth describes how perfect this experience was for my family. Both relaxing and adventurous- it’s whatever you want each day. My kids learned to surf on their own in a week!

The staff is so kind and helpful in every way. What they are doing with the in house hospitality academy is truly changing lives. You could feel the warmth.
