Launched June 2026, the Riding & Racquet Club is NIHI Sumba’s most anticipated new chapter — a private members’ club aesthetic translated onto the sand, where the romance of the great polo clubs meets the raw, elemental beauty of Sumba. Set beachfront alongside our newest villas, the club is home to NIHI’s Sandalwood Stables, a brand new international tennis court, a clubhouse lounge and bar, and our signature Monday night Bakar di Kandang Kuda dinner. As the tide recedes along Nihiwatu Beach, local people, young and old, come together to venture onto the exposed reef, gathering sea grapes and seafood from the rock pools.
